The free apartment search for you

Thats how it works:

Here you can become active yourself, browse through our offers and, if you have found an offer that suits you, contact us by phone or email. Of course, we'll be happy to call you back if you can't reach us. Only in a personal phone call can we clarify whether the selected property also meets your expectations and then arrange an appointment to view it.

After the inspection and only if you are sure that you would like to rent the inspected apartment, we need the following documents from you by email:

  • self-disclosure completely filled out and signed
  • additional volunteers rent guarantee only for students/trainees
  • the current last 3 salary slips of all prospective tenants
  • the ID copies of all prospective tenants

Upon receipt, your documents will be discussed with the landlord and you will receive a confirmation or rejection of the conclusion of the rental agreement as soon as we have his answer (usually within 1-2 days).

Of course, we will also accompany you after the rental agreement has been signed until the apartment is handed over and we will be your contact person until then.

Helpful information regarding the Frankfurt housing market

We often hear that you have not received any response to email inquiries during your previous search, why is that?

Reason 1:

The housing market in Frankfurt, especially in the well-loved inner-city locations, is extremely overcrowded, which means that in the 1st hour after an online ad is posted online, more than 100 inquiries are often received, but since there is only 1 offer, it cannot be 100 or more interested parties are offered for viewing, as a result, the inquiries will be processed after receipt and if the scheduled viewing appointment is fully scheduled, the other interested parties will no longer be contacted or, if necessary, if there is a 2nd appointment there.

Reason 2:

At least we already enter various tenant profile characteristics that are significant for the landlord in our advertisements, e.g. the maximum number of people to whom he would like to rent, i.e. if a maximum of 2 people is specified and the inquiries come from families with 3.4 or more people , they will not be contacted. The same applies to the indication “no flat share”, if people interested in flat share get in touch, they will not be contacted by us either and another example “no pets” is in the ad and inquiries with dogs/cats are received, ours are also omitted here Return message. And very often it is also about the start of the rental date, if an apartment is advertised for May 1st, 2023, interested parties who are interested in April 1st. or on 1.6. or 1.7. looking not contacted.

We often hear that your appointment ideas regarding viewing have not been met in your previous search, why is that?

As a rule, the apartments on offer are still rented, which means that the current tenant gives permission to view the property at a date and time that he has set, so it is our task to schedule suitable interested parties within this clearly specified time window and therefore unfortunately cannot meet existing appointment requests on the part of interested parties take into account.

We often receive various personal documents from interested parties, sometimes even before a viewing, which we consider extremely questionable for data protection reasons. We only need this personal information if you have viewed an apartment with us and only if you are then sure that you also want to rent them. Before allocating viewing appointments, we only need the following information, but it must be complete:

How many people are you looking for an apartment with?

What dates are you looking for an apartment?

What is your profession?

And last but not least, a word about the tenant profile that Frankfurt landlords usually want, because you give us the apartment profile you want in terms of location, size, and equipment
As a rule, the contracting landlords also have a desired tenant profile, which usually reads:

  • max. number of people for this apartment
  • permanent position with a net household income of at least approx. 3 times the rent including heating
  • students or trainees are welcome to have an additional voluntary parental guarantee, in which case that
The guarantor's net income should roughly correspond to the above
  • Long-term tenancy, so no short-term tenants
